** 3D Animation ** 

Toy Story-released in Novembre 22,1995 :

          On entrance of computers and 3D driven software... feature length films of high polish can be created virtually in 3D. Toy Story is considered to be a first animated feature ever generated completely on computers.Disney and Pixar partnered up to create this film.

** Combination of 3D and 2D **

Iron Giant -released in 1999 :

           Even if Iron Giant looks as if it were completely drawn the traditional way (cell by cell) .The big giant robot is actually designed in 3D and output as a 2D image using Maya with the added help of proprietary software.

          One of the drawbacks of this method is the perfect and rigid quality of the line rendered out of a 3D package. 

           The perfect line is what separated it from 2d techniques so the solution was to "simplifying the design somewhat and not having too many surface shading areas", says Brad Bird director of The Iron Giant. Secondly,Brian Gardner created a program that caused line imperfections on the Giant randomly.They called it Wobble.

         
Most of the backgrounds although 2d in look were also 3D renderings.The backgrounds were stretched a bit so so that it appeared as if you were going around something.

         With each new step into the next generation of computer graphics comes new and more believable

1) RIO 2 :

          Rio 2 is a new American-Brazilian film 3D animated movie directed by Carlos Saldanha, produced by 20th Century Fox ,The new animated movie  is currently scheduled to be released on April 11, 2014 in USA, following the movie premiere in Brazil on March 28, 2014 and its UK release on April 4, 2014.
This is the second part of the animated movie Rio, released in 2011.

    - The history of Rio 2 :
            Blu, Jewel, and their three children live a perfect life in the magical city of Rio de Janeiro. When Jewel decides that his children must learn to live like wild birds, it insists that the family adventure in the Amazon rainforest. Blu, who is just beginning to feel comfortable with his new neighbors, concerned that children and Jewel are definitely taste the wild.

2)  ASTERIX : THE LAND OF GODS

Asterix: The land of gods 3D a Franco-American new animated movie directed by Alexandre Astier and Louis Clichy with the voices of  Roger Carel, Lorànt Deutsch, Laurent Lafitte, Alexandre Astier, Alain Chabat... set for realease in November 26, 2014.
It is an adaptation of the album Asterix The Mansions of the Gods.

- The history of The land Of Gods  :
          In order to civilize thé irreducible and weakened them by depriving them of their main resource, thé forest. Jules César and her architect decided to circle the Gaulish village by building a residential area called " the land of the gods " for Roman owners.and here is the first building is constructed and the new owners are starting to move. Abraracourcix, Panoramix, Astérix & Obélix are aware of the danger of the plan of Jules César and her architect.Asterix and Obelix are responsible for finding a solution ...

3) THE LEGO MOVIE :

           The Lego Movie is a new American-Australian computer-animated adventure comedy movie directed by Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller and based on the Lego line of construction toys. The new animated movie is scheduled to be released on February 7, 2014.

Emmet  is mistaken as being the Special, the one who can save the Lego universe. With the aid of Vitruvius an old mystic.Emmet will fight to defeat the evil tyrant Lord Business  who is bent on destroying the Lego universe by gluing it together.
